The Highly-Anticipated Frisco Station Development is Living Up to the Hype

By Jeff Cheney | On

As you may have noticed, we have been hot on the heels of the Dallas Cowboys’ new Frisco headquarters, The Star in Frisco. The $350 million development reached a major milestone just the other day when construction hit the halfway mark. The high-profile development is located at the northwest corner of Warren Parkway and the Dallas North Tollway and is part of Frisco’s greatly publicized ‘$5 Billion Mile’. As excited as we are about everything that will be included in the 91-acre Star development, we simply cannot wait for the completion of the Frisco Station, which is a 242-acre master-planned development that will be built around The Star. Within Frisco Station will be more than 4 million square feet of office and corporate campuses, 2,400 multi-family residential homes, unique destination food and beverage concepts, entertainment venues, medical and wellness facilities, and open space/greenbelt amenities with scheduled events and public activities. Upon completion, Frisco Station will be a one-of-a-kind, innovative development that fosters wellness and a sense of community amongst residents and visitors alike.

The idea behind the development is to create a connected community where the best and brightest can come together in order to truly turn the developer’s vision into a reality. Frisco Station is unique in that it has taken a new approach to urban design based on the notion of fostering a community where everyone is inspired and energized by those around them. This is a huge goal, but one that we anticipate to be met.

A One-of-a-Kind North Texas Community

Frisco Station is unlike any other development in North Texas, or the state in general. The development is being built with the hope that people will have a space where they can be inspired by the energy of the city, but still retreat to the sanity of the suburbs. This groundbreaking development is – with the snap of the fingers – reinventing the way people look at urban areas and communities. The development team consists of the Rudman Partnership, Hillwood Properties, and Van Trust Real Estate, all of whom are equally involved and passionate about the project.

Since 2000, Frisco had grown by more than 250 percent, which is one of the main reasons why developers saw this burgeoning city as the perfect location for such a forward-thinking community. This development will appeal to the transformational consumer (i.e. those who love brands that change habits and inspire) as well as the creative class of professionals in healthcare, business, education, research, science, and more. There will be tons of interesting shops as well as opportunities to get out and explore the culture of the area. Designed to provide residents with a healthy, smart, and creative experience at every turn, Frisco Station truly is like no other development we’ve ever seen. By providing residents with access to health and wellness-enhanced living opportunities, farm-to-table restaurants, a farmer’s market, supportive work-play environments, and a ‘Culture Shed’ where creativity, culture, and collaboration will be present every day, Frisco Station is truly transforming the way in which we approach life on a daily basis.

The Cheney Group real estate team will continue to keep you up-to-date on this innovative development as it progresses. We look forward to watching everything come to fruition and cannot wait to assist those interested in calling the Frisco Station home one day soon.
