Frisco has been named one of the best places to live in the country numerous times, and it’s easy to see why. With a booming economy and competitive housing market, more and more people are making the (wise) decision to call this Dallas suburb home. We’ve devoted a lot of time to discuss the housing market in Frisco, Dallas, and the surrounding areas in order to ensure you any potential home buyers or sellers understand where we are at. There are numerous reasons why the housing market is thriving right now, from the excellent school systems to the numerous headquarters (hello, Amazon HQ2) making the decision to call the area home. But there’s another reason why Frisco has seen such gains in the housing market – all the wonderful things the city has to offer! Frisco is not only a great place to raise a family or further your career, but the opportunities for fun and entertainment are endless. With that in mind, here’s a look at 10 of our favorite things to do in Frisco:

  1.  The Star in Frisco

The Star is one of the area’s newest entertainment districts, and one of the most popular. At The Star, there is an entire entertainment district with tons of opportunities for the whole family. If you are a Dallas Cowboys fan, this is a definite must-see! Not only are the restaurants top-notch, but you’ll be able to catch your beloved Cowboys this season during training!

  2. Frisco Heritage Museum

The Frisco Heritage Museum is a great way for the whole family to spend a weekend afternoon. The historical park has a museum, historic buildings, a steam locomotive, a wooden caboose, and even more to explore.

  3. Texas Sculpture Garden

A favorite amongst locals and visitors alike, the Texas Sculpture Garden is a gorgeous park and garden located in the heart of Frisco. There is a well-rounded, albeit eclectic, collection of outdoor art from Texas artists, offering plenty of opportunities for adults and kids alike!

  4. Frisco Soccer Complex

Soccer fans will confirm, but the Frisco Soccer Complex is a ‘must stop’ when visiting Frisco. Their motto “Play Hard, Play Fair, and Have Fun!” can be seen through the many soccer games and concerts hosted at the venue. There are also tons of great restaurants and museums within walking distance.

  5. National Videogame Museum

Frisco is home to the nation’s first Videogame Museum, and it certainly does not disappoint. The museum features 20 interactive exhibits, including an 80s-themed arcade, gaming stations, and 80s gaming room.

  6. Frisco Commons Park

Frisco’s Commons Park may be one of the city’s best-kept secrets, but not for long. Located on the outskirts of town, this park is clean, well-maintained, and even has a large covered pavilion, perfect for family get-togethers and picnics.

  7. Stonebriar Centre

Stonebriar Centre is the place for all your shopping needs in Frisco. Kid-friendly with a play area, tons of dining options, and a wide range of stores. Be sure and stop by Stonebriar Centre next time you are heading out for a shopping adventure with the kiddos!

  8. Dr. Pepper Ballpark

Baseball fans rejoice, you will also find Dr. Pepper Ballpark, home of the Frisco RoughRiders, in Frisco. The popular Class AA minor league baseball club brings more than 10,000 fans to the park each game and is a wonderful way to spend a summer afternoon with the whole family.

  9. The Frisco Art Gallery

If you are looking to experience some of the finest art in the area, the Frisco Art Gallery is for you. Both the main and reception galleries are free and open to the public every day except Monday. Exhibits change and range from featuring local artists to those from across the globe.

  10. Hanuman Temple

Hanuman Temple is a Frisco landmark and one of the most discussed points of interests in the area. The Frisco site was blessed by Sri Swamiji in April 2008 and today draws thousands of visitors each year. If you are visiting Frisco or looking for something new to explore in the city, be sure and check out the temple.
